Latest News

Parish Lunch

Will be held after the morning service on the 1st February 2009. The cost is £4.50, Under 10's free. Please sign up in the church porch if you would like to attend.

St Crux dates 2009

19th March 2009

8th October 2009

5th November 2009

We will be raising money for church funds by serving refreshments and selling bric a brac and books at St Crux church (at the end of the Shambles) on the above dates.

Bric a brac and books are needed. They can be brought to church on any Sunday.

We also need help with baking and serving on the day. If you can spare and hour or more then we need you!

Please mark the dates in your diary.

We now have a new joint St Lawrence and St Hilda website currently in its preliminary phase.

Memorial Garden

We need some gardening Volunteers to help with tidying up the Memorial Garden behind church. If you can help in any way please contact us.

Christmas Fayre

£268.02 was raised at the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 29th November. The event was well supported despite the misty/foggy weather.

Brownie Coffee Evening

Many thanks from the Brownies to all those who supported them at their Coffee Evening in November. A total of £146.90 was raised, of which £80 is being sent to WaterAid

St Crux No. 3

Our final St Crux of the year was on Thursday 4th September and we raised £735.15 for church funds.
